Watten Mains situated in the centre of Caithness excellent for sight seeing In 2013 the Scottish Ploughing Championships are coming to Caithness for the first time and They are going to be held here at Watten Mains.
The Queen mother was also a regular visitor to the house when the last owner was the Treasurer at the castle of Mey.

Breakfast
A full farm house breakfast is cooked on the aga using locally sourced produce where possible. Special dietary needs can be catered for given advance notice.
Served in the dinning room, breakfast is available from 7.30am - 9.30am although earlier breakfasts can be arranged if required.
Packed lunches or evening meals are available on request.
For not so sunny days and in between outings there is a comfortable sitting room for guests, with TV and DVD.
On sunnier days there is a walled garden area for guests to sit and enjoy the outdoors and relax.
Private parking and Tea/coffee making facilities available.
Because of the quirky layout of the house guests with poor mobility might find the house challenging - where possible the stairs and steps are fitted with hand rails.
